The mission of our organization is to operate as a 501(c)(3)
non-profit organization that invests in community safety by
supporting the DeForest Police Department with resources to
augment its services to those who live, work, and visit DeForest.
Dreamed up in 2022 and became a reality in 2023. Our goal is to support those who are guardians of our community.
The DeForest Police Foundation is proud to announce that our first major project—the establishment of the DeForest Police Department’s inaugural K-9 unit—has been successfully completed! Thanks to the generosity of our community, K-9 Cyro officially joined the force in 2024, enhancing the department’s ability to protect and serve.
While we are independent of the police department, we work closely with Chief James Olson to secure funding for critical projects.
Our Work Isn’t Done!
The DeForest Police Foundation continues to raise funds to support the department’s equipment needs, officer well-being, and future initiatives that enhance public safety. Your donation can make a direct impact in ensuring our officers have the tools they need to keep DeForest safe.
